A resident of Gladstone was injured on Thursday afternoon when the car he was driving ran off a lettered highway approximately one mile south of Braymer.
The Highway Patrol said 73-year old Ib Hagsten of Gladstone received minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Liberty Hospital.
Hagsten was westbound on Route KK when the car traveled through a stop sign, went across Route A and left the west side of the road, traveling into a field. The car was extensively damaged. Hagsten was wearing a seat belt.
