With near perfect weather on Saturday, the Trenton Police Department hosted 67 local children at the 4th Annual “Cops ‘N Bobbers” fishing event.

Many fish were caught as area kids spent the morning of June 4th fishing with the men and women of the Trenton Police Department and other law enforcement officers.

After fishing with equipment provided by the Missouri Department of Conservation at the NCMC Barton Farm Campus pond, they were treated to lunch and other activities by the National Wild Turkey Federation.

The Trenton Police Department would like to thank all businesses that helped make this event a huge success with special recognition to our partners and those who provided prizes for the kids.

Event Co-Sponsors are the National Wild Turkey Federation, North Central Missouri College, and the Missouri Department of Conservation.

We look forward to holding this event next year and hope to make it even bigger with more fish being caught by more boys and girls.
