4 arrested over the weekend in Grundy County face judge today

Four individuals arrested since Friday in Grundy County are scheduled to appear today in the Associate Division of the circuit court.

Two with Cameron addresses, 39-year-old William Andrew Shaffer Junior and 23-year-old Jennifer Lynn Watt face charges of assault in the third degree, involving physical injury to other persons.

Shaffer is accused of striking another person in the face Watt is accused of striking a different person in the head. Both incidents were Saturday and investigated by Trenton Police officers. Bond for Shaffer is $15,000 cash. Bond for Ms. Watt is $10,000.

Court records show Shaffer is a prior offender convicted of burglary and theft in Daviess county in 2015; and has convictions for bad checks, burglary, and arson in Barton county in 1997.

Garden City, Kansas resident Jason Lee Rohr has been charged in Grundy County with second-degree burglary with a bond set at $10,000 cash.

Rohr, who’s 35 years old, is accused of unlawfully entering an apartment at 511 Main for the alleged purpose of committing an assault. Trenton police conducted the Saturday investigation.

48-year-old Carl Woodson May of Trenton faces two charges: possession of a controlled substance listed as methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of various drug paraphernalia items.

Bond for Carl May totals $16, 500 dollars on the two charges.
