Three teenagers were injured and taken to hospitals following a single vehicle accident last night in Harrison County, at Mount Moriah.

The highway patrol said 18-year-old Hunter Brown of Princeton was southbound on Route B when the car he was driving allegedly failed to halt for a stop sign. The vehicle crossed U-S Highway 136, went off the south side of that highway, drove through a field, struck a ditch before coming to a stop.

Hunter Brown, along with one passenger: 16-year-old Josiah Brown of Gilman City, received minor injuries. Both were treated at Harrison county community hospital in Bethany. Another passenger, 17-year-old Mayakle Crabtree of Bethany, received moderate injuries and was transported to Liberty Hospital.

The report indicates only the driver was using a seat belt and the vehicle received minor damage in the 7:35 pm accident Tuesday night.
