Two Chillicothe men were arraigned in Livingston County Circuit Court Wednesday on felony charges stemming from their alleged involvement in separate cases investigated by Chillicothe Police officers.

23-year-old Austin Richard Holstine faces charges of assault in the first degree resulting in what the warrant described as a serious physical injury.

The charge stems from an incident that occurred Sunday in Chillicothe with bond was set by Associate Circuit Judge James Valbracht at $250,000 cash.

According to an online court record, Holstine was ordered by the judge to have no contact with the victim who was only identified by initials but listed a birth date that makes the victim 22 months old. In addition, the court order says Holstine is to have no contact with anyone under the age of 18.

During their investigation early this week, Chillicothe Police posted a most wanted photo of the suspect on their facebook page, requesting help from the public in either locating the person of interest for what it referred to as a child abuse investigation.

Police, in a facebook update, reported Holstine surrendered on Monday, after a Livingston County warrant was issued, and thanked the public for their assistance.

Holstine was in court Wednesday with the case continued to November 30 for either waiving a preliminary hearing or setting the date and time to have one.

He was remanded to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail.

Among other cases investigated by Chillicothe Police, 23-year-old Martavious Jermaine Sullivan was arrested on two felony counts.

One is felony domestic assault in the second degree and the other is listed as first-degree endangering the welfare of a child creating substantial risk but no sexual contact.

Judge James Valbracht set bond at $25,000 cash and online court information states Sullivan is to have no contact with Jordan P. Johnson.

Unnamed sources tell KTTN the victim was allegedly stabbed with a knife Tuesday night.

Sullivan was remanded to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail to await a November 30th appearance in Livingston County Associate Circuit Court to waive a preliminary hearing or set the date and time for it.

Chillicothe Police also report the arrest of 23-year-old Jordan Paige Johnson of Chillicothe on felony charges of second-degree assault on Sullivan. The judge set her bond at five thousand dollars cash and ordered her to have NO contact with Martavious Sullivan.
