2 arrested on probation violation and failure to appear; Court appearances set for December 15

Two arrests are in today’s report from the Grundy County sheriff’s department.

23-year-old Tyler Ward of Trenton was served a warrant Tuesday accusing him of probation violation. Ward already was in custody on other charges that were filed over this past weekend.

Ward had been placed on five years probation last April (2016) in connection with four counts of defacing and / or tampering of motor vehicles in January of this year.

Bond on the latest charge was set at $50,000 and Ward is to appear December 15 in Division One of Grundy County Circuit Court.

Trenton resident, 27-year-old Casey Aaron Russell was arrested today in Camden County on a Grundy County warrant accusing him of failure to appear in circuit court at Trenton during a session scheduled back in May.

Russell, in August 2012, was placed on six years probation on Grundy County charges involving forgery from December of 2011.

Bond is set at $15,000 pending his appearance, December 15 in Grundy County Circuit Court Division One.
