2 arrested by Grundy County Sheriff’s department

Two felony counts have been filed against a Spickard resident after an arrest was made Saturday.

37-year-old Jesse Don Richmond the fourth is accused of the theft of a handgun from his father as well as unlawful possession of a firearm. Authorities said the incident involving a Colt 357 revolver was October 22.

Bond is $20,000 cash with Jesse Richmond the fourth to appear on November 8 in the Associate Divison of the Grundy County Circuit Court. Information filed by the prosecuting attorney indicates Richmond has previous convictions in August and September of 2012. They included tampering in the first degree in Ray County and possession of a controlled substance in Grundy County.

A warrant was served for the arrest of 29-year-old Jade Marie Mock for alleged failure to appear in Grundy County Circuit Court. Probation was suspended when she did not make an appearance October 13th in Division One of Circuit Court. Ms. Mock had been placed on five years probation during sentencing August 18.

Her original charge was possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamines, November 30 of last year. When booked at the Grundy county law enforcement center, Jade Mock provided a home address of Galt.

Online court records show multiple Trenton addresses. Bond is $15,000 cash with the defendant scheduled to be in Division One of Circuit Court before Judge Jack Peace November 10.
