1st Annual Northwest Women In Ag Night set for October 20

Grundy &  Mercer County Soil & Water Conservation Districts are hosting the 1st Annual Northwest Women In Ag Night at the Barton Farm Campus on Thursday, October 20th.  The registration deadline is Monday, October 3

Registration is $10 with seating limited for the event.  Registration and visitation with the Grundy County Health Department will take place from 3:30pm-4:00pm with the program from 4:00pm-8:00pm. 

There will be a 1-hour session with Bill & Tammy George of Crooked Hill Beekeeping and ladies will work with representatives of the Missouri Department of Conservation, T.J. Peacher, and Adam Brandsgaard. Participants will cook supper outdoors, as well as make fire starters and learn about Grass-Fed Beef.  With Missouri weather, you will need to be dressed for the outdoor session as well as bring a chair with you. 

The Beekeeping session will be inside the building.
