11 from Trenton High School FBLA program qualify for state competition

Trenton student takes first place honors at FBLA competition

Eleven Trenton high school students have qualified for state competition after placing in the district conference involving student members of Future Business Leaders of America.

Overall, Trenton students earned 31 medals in 25 events at the district number 19 conference.

Qualifying for state FBLA competition were Werthen Gass in 3 categories,  Katerina Black in 2 categories, Luke Lewis in 2 categories,  Tanner Franklin in 2 categories and Mason Hooyman in 2 categories.

Others from Trenton high school advancing to state are Eli Leininger, Jaylen Neff, Lathan Croy, Hannah Kennebeck, Carson Burchett, and Wyatt Whittle.

The Trenton high school sponsor for the Future Business Leaders of America chapter is Instructor Amy Franklin.
